Recently, I blogged about this. I'd love any band name suggestions you guys have to offer.  Maybe we'll stumble on a goodun.

The perfect band name would have all of the following characteristics:
catchy and easy to remember, unpretentious, indicative of the style of
music we play (country-tinged rock), easy for a local idiot to read and
pronounce.

Current favorite is INCARCERADO. Tell me why this sucks.  Gimme something else.

I like the name, but think with four syllables, might be "too long" for some people to remember easily. Also, it's not an "easy" word to remember compared to most band names that come to mind.

Incacerado is not easy to spell or remember...and the local idiot wouldn't be able to read it or pronounce it.  ha ha.

How about:
The Sunburn Slappers

It would make people laugh and remember your name (I don't think its been used)... which is great if you have some tongues planted firmly in your cheeks.... which I would expect if you play country-tinged rock.
Okay, it is a little silly.
Other suggestions
The Night Stallions
The Midnight Grinders (ha ha)
Crub
The War Stories (ooh, I like that one!  It has star quality.... Better check to see if that has been used)

No, wait.  I think I've got the name!!!!

What do you guys think of BIG TAP ?

It has significance to me because, it's what everyone called my grandfather (his name was James Tappan Hornor).  And it has its own triple entendre as well.

What'dya think?

Ok, I'm going to let AMERICAN RUINS and BIG TAP percolate, but I think THE WAR STORIES is pretty awesome too.

I like American Ruins, but as it hits a little "too" close to home with the way the country is right now, it might be too much of a "downer" for people.

The thing about choosing a good band name is you want it to be something that a drunk can pronounce - and more important remember.
